The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.
Religious Education Classes Grades 1-8: ROOT
ROOT is the first year of St. Catherine of Siena Sacramental Preparation two year program from Grades 1st through 4th. This is a Family Formation process with the ROOT program that covers the core of our faith and continues on to their second year, MEND & NOURISH. Want to register your child for ROOT, click here!
Sacrament Preparation for 1st Communion & 1st Penance:
MEND & NOURISH
MEND & NOURISH is the second year of St. Catherine of Siena Sacramental Preparation two program from Grades 5th through 8th. This program helps students prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (MEND) and the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist (NOURISH). Classes meet Sunday mornings from 8:30 am to 10:45 am. Has your child already completed their first year (ROOT), it is time to register them for their second year (MEND & NOURISH). To register, click here!
Confirmation Preparation
Youth
Confirmation for youth begins in the 9th Grade. The program is covered over a two year period. The first year covers the fundamentals of our Faith and the second year delves into growing in faith and living out our baptismal promises in full communion with the church. Regular classes meet on Sunday morning from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Want to register your child, click here!
Adult
Are you an adult and have not been confirmed? Do you want to get confirmed? Join Adult Confirmation to learn more about your faith and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Fill out the Inquiry Form by clicking here!
Junior Core
This group is open to High School students who have completed their Confirmation and are interested in learning more about their faith and sharing it with others. The group participates in bible study, prayer and assisting other ministries in the church to live out their mission.
OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an ongoing process of initiation that guides and instructs adults desiring the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and/or Confirmation and provides a faith journey for non-Catholics who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith. The program begins each fall and concludes with Pentecost. Participants meet weekly for faith sharing and instruction, participate in Sunday liturgies and special ceremonies.
