PARISH VISION STATEMENT

The Parish Community of St. Catherine of Siena of Martinez, recognizing its rich heritage and cultural diversity, strengthened by a vibrant liturgy and formed by ongoing catechesis to be authentic Christians/Catholics live the gospel, by reaching out to others; providing a friendly atmosphere, offering parish wide social activities and supporting the school in their goals and mission.

  • Feb. 18,2012 (Saturday 9:30-10:30am): Training for Altar Servers - Liturgy of the Word
  • Feb. 25,2012 (Saturday 9:30-10:30am): Training for Altar Servers - Liturgy of the Eucharist
  • March 4,2012 (Sunday 8:30am): Commisioning of New Alter Servers
  • March 10,2012 (Saturday 9:30-10:30am): Training for Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Guidelines for Bulletin Submissions,
Pulpit Announcements & Flyers

Bulletin Articles — Must be submitted in writing (via email, note, etc.) in the Parish Office by Tuesday Mornings to be included in the weekend bulletin. Fundraisers for Groups are allowed only two articles and one insert.

Pulpit Announcements — For Group Fundraisers—two pulpit announcements are allowed. All requests for announcements must be submitted in writing to the Parish Office by Thursday to be announced on the weekend.

All Flyers — Bulletin or Wall Postings must have Fr. Leo's signature on them before being inserted in the bulletin or posted on the church/school buildings.

(All Bulletin Articles, Pulpit Announcements & Flyers are subject to Fr. Leo's approval prior to release) Please note: The Parish Office is not responsible for any errors or omissions in submitted announcements, articles & flyers.
